Following the September 2024 expression of interest, the ETP successfully established a Support Group comprising ten (10) Coordinators, whose role is essential in fostering the exchange of inputs, recommendations, and best practices within the sector. As a bottom-up advisory and consultative body, these Coordinators will play a pivotal role in assisting the European Commission by providing insights and guiding the development of the Energy Transition roadmap—an actionable plan to be delivered by the end of 2025, with measurable milestones aimed at supporting the transition to a sustainable future.
The ETP is reopening its call for expressions of interest for Support Group Coordinators, specifically for Inland Aquaculture and the Distant Water Fleet (DWF) sectors – two crucial categories in shaping the energy transition in EU fisheries and aquaculture!
As a coordinator, you will:
- Foster engagement and gather input from key stakeholders,
- Coordinate discussions and promote best practices,
- Disseminate information and contribute to shaping the Energy Transition Roadmap.
You can discover more about the role of the Coordinators and the established group representing other key sectors here.
The coordinators will be supported in their tasks by the secretariat of the assistance mechanism of the ETP.
