About the Call for Expression of Interest 

The Call for Expression of Interest for the EU Mission: Restore our Ocean and Waters is inviting applicants from ports, islands, and fisheries communities to apply for the opportunity to lead projects that support key environmental objectives. These projects should aim to fulfil at least one of the following Mission objectives: 

  • Protecting and restoring marine and freshwater ecosystems and biodiversity 
  • Preventing and eliminating pollution of our ocean, seas, and waters 
  • Creating a carbon-neutral and circular sustainable blue economy 

  

 

Who Should Apply? 

This Call is ideal for ports, islands, and fisheries communities committed to advancing sustainable, eco-friendly initiatives that will have a lasting positive impact on marine and freshwater ecosystems.
