The PTMB Platform was established in May 2009 to integrate maritime and marine sectors on Research and Innovation. Its geographical coverage matches that of CIESM which has agreed to be the key partner representing the marine research sector.
This Session will present and bring to discussion issues of common interest to both industry and research operators, such as new technologies for sustainable fisheries, maritime information technology, tuna farming, impact of nanotechnologies, sustainable deep sea exploration, links with oil and gas exploration, climate modelling, monitoring technologies, etc.
