Description
The consultation on the Green Paper, which lasted more than eight months, is now over. It has been a great success: the Commission has received almost 1700 contributions; a lot of them very substantial. These have been analysed and constitute a basis for the reflexion on the options and alternatives to elicit the core orientations to be examined in-depth during the preparatory period of the CFP reform. This does not mean that the debate is closed the Commission is willing to continue to listen, to explain the options and gather reactions on all the topics of the Common Fisheries Policy.
