Description
For our next open-session conference, the Forum is pleased to be co-locating with the International Conference on Energy (ICOE) 2016 (http://www.renewableuk.com/en/events/conferences-and-exhibitions/icoe-2…)in Edinburgh at the EICC (http://www.eicc.co.uk/) 23-25 February 2016. Forum sessions will be held over two days to allow attendance at as much of the ICOE event as possible. This includes both Forum plenary (Day 1 Tue 23 Feb) and feedback / discussion breakout sessions (Days 1 & 2 Tue 23 & Wed 24 Feb).
The OEF programme can be found here https://maritime-forum.ec.europa.eu/node/3882
Following publication of the Forum’s draft Strategic Roadmap in October 2015, the main focus of our event is to provide a progress update on the Roadmap in three key areas:
• Further Roadmap consultation
• Developing and auditing the evidence-base
• The status of the implementation plans that will help towards the Roadmap’s key recommendations
Attendance at OEF open-sessions is free (https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/ocean-energy-forum-open-session-conferen…). For attendance at the wider ICOE event, a ticket will need to be purchased (https://www.livebuzzreg.co.uk/2016/icoe16/reg/) in the usual way.
If you wish to attend both the OEF event / sessions and the ICOE event, you need to register for each event.
If you have an interest in the Ocean Energy sector, particularly to help develop action plans that will help implement the Roadmap key recommendations, we would be delighted to welcome you to our event which you can register for now (https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/ocean-energy-forum-open-session-conferen…)
