Description
Take your science a step forward - engage in Ocean Literacy - we show you how!
Join our dedicated training for scientists to learn how to bring your research closer to the public, policymakers, youth, media, and other stakeholders.
This training is designed to empower both mature and early-career scientists with the skills, tools, and confidence to communicate their science effectively. Participants will explore what Ocean Literacy means and how it can be applied in real-life settings - from storytelling and public outreach to policy engagement.
This three-part training will take place online over three consecutive mornings. Each session combines inspiration, practical tools, and hands-on experience.
This training is organised by EuroGOOS in support of the EU4Ocean Coalition, which brings together diverse organisations, projects, and individuals dedicated to promoting ocean literacy and sustainable ocean management.
