Description
Join the EU4Ocean Coalition at MSP Week!
The EU4Ocean Coalition will hold an interactive event that connects Maritime Spatial Planning with ocean literacy, complementing the technical and policy-oriented discussions of the week. Bringing together experts, stakeholders, educators, and youth, the sessions will show how dialogue, co design, and informed societies can strengthen sustainable and inclusive maritime spatial planning across Europe.
The event will open with a networking lunch, followed by a panel discission featuring established MSP experts from policy, science, blue economy and sea‑basin perspectives, alongside youth representatives. Short interventions and an interactive Q&A will explore co‑design in biodiversity‑focused MSP, the role of MSP in securing the future for coming generations, and the importance of participation and ocean literacy.
The participants will then engage in direct dialogues between early‑career professionals and MSP experts, teachers and professionals and explore MSP through hands-on games, maps, and visual tools.
The event will close with a “Meet a Blue Expert” session, where a youth will hold an interview-style interaction with an MSP expert.
