Bringing the EU4Ocean #MakeEUBlue – Cities in Action! campaign to the 2025 EU Week of Regions and Cities and Ocean Week has been an unique experience thanks to the richness of the exchanges with European cities’ representatives, young professionals, stakeholders and citizens translating the many facets of cities’ engagement in river and ocean sustainability.
Discover in particular the synthesis of the debates that took place during the October 15 workshop entitled Delivering the ambitions of the European Ocean Pact: engaging cities in supporting ocean sustainability. Much to build on to translate the campaign’s mobilization into effective cities’ engagement in river and ocean sustainability as well as on the importance of strengthening ocean literacy of cities’ elected representatives.
