How much algae does Europe really produce? Which species, from which countries—and are they locally produced or imported?
These questions and more will be addressed during the upcoming EU4Algae webinar, bringing together experts from both the industry and the institutions responsible for algae data collection.
We will explore key challenges, including gaps caused by algae companies being registered under agriculture instead of aquaculture, inconsistencies in biomass reporting, import/export data limitations, and confidentiality constraints.
