What kind of projects can be submitted?

Projects can take different forms. What matters most is that they are youth-led and connected to the ocean and the EU seas and waters. Please note that projects do not need to fit neatly into one category, and we are happy to welcome intersiplinary and evolving initiatives.

✓ Awarness and communication initiatives - Campaigns, storytelling, digital content, exhibitions, public outreach, or community awareness activities.

✓ Education and ocean literacy projectsCommunity or local action - School initiatives, workshops, youth learning activities, peer education, educational tools, or local engagement actions.

✓ Community or local action - Beach clean-ups, local mobilisation, citizen engagement, place-based action, or youth-driven community activities.

✓ Innovation and entrepreneurship - Early-stage concepts, prototypes, business ideas, or initiatives exploring solutions for ocean-related challenges.

✓ Creative and cultural projects - Artistic, cultural, media, or interdisciplinary initiatives that help connect people to ocean issues.

✓ Advocacy and participation initiatives - Youth engagement actions, consultation work, dialogue spaces, policy-related activities, or civic participation projects.
