The CEIP Alexandre Rosselló is located 450 meters from the beach of Ca'n Pere Antoni, a place they know and love, since we have gone on an excursion there, physical education activities have been carried out, and we have conducted a beach clean this year.
Our students are very aware that Marine biodiversity is vital for the health of people and our planet.
Based on objective 14 of sustainable development: Underwater Life, we have introduced the conservation and cleaning of the beach into our learning situations and projects, as one more of the activities of the center regarding care for the environment, such as the importance of recycling, caring for our forests. We see this topic as continous activities of the centre and therefore, during the course 23/24 we will continue with the following sustainability projects:
- Clean up the beach in our neighborhood.
- Study the fauna and flora of our environment.
- Combat climate change.
