The EU Ports Strategy aims to frame the current and future challenges for European ports.
It sets out a comprehensive strategy:
- defining EU priorities for the port sector
- proposing areas of targeted intervention
- providing recommendations and guidance to stakeholders.
Particular areas of focus include competitiveness, energy transition, security, including cybersecurity and military mobility, external dimensions, innovation, social issues, skills and safety, investment and financial support.
